School Council
The school decision-making group (School Council) consists of elected parent and staff representatives. Parent representation consists of three members elected by the P&C Association at the P&C AGM, plus the P&C President in an ex-officio capacity. These P&C members represent the views of the Prac community and the positions are keenly sought.
Staff members are elected by the staff annually.
The purposes of the School Council are:
- to promote the academic, social and personal welfare of students in the school;
- to set the broad policies and direction of the school;
- to encourage continuing development and innovation in the school;
- to encourage and co-ordinate parent participation in the school.
