House Athletics Carnival

For the first time in many years, Rooney won the Faction Athletics Carnival.

Despite the blustery and occasionally wet conditions, all athletes competed to the best of their ability. This year's Carnival featured a tabloid section where the factions were divided up into three teams and competed in a variety of skill activities targeting speed, ball skill and strength.

There were many highlights throughout the day with the Tug of War, pre-primary events and the Year 7 chariot race being particularly well received.

Results: Rooney 191, Cowan 162 and Prior 139.
