School Awards
East Claremont Primary School is proud of its heritage as being the primary school educator of three Rhode scholars. It is the school's policy to recognise achievement and to this end a number of awards are made during the year.
Honour Awards
Honour Award certificates are presented at school assemblies to children in each class who have made some commendable academic, social or behavioural achievement in class during the previous fortnight.

Awarded to the girl and boy in Year 7 who have most clearly displayed the qualities of a good citizen during their years at the school.
French Award2008 Nathan Sandl
Presented to the Year 7 student who has responded in a positive and consistent manner to the challenges of learning parts of the curriculum in French.
Sporting Awards
Individual awards are made to children displaying outstanding athletic ability during the school's annual Swimming and Athletics Carnivals.
