Lunch Orders

Children in Years 1-7 may order lunch from Heather's Hutch; a local café in Nedlands. A menu and price list is available from the office, and parents may arrange for their children to order lunches by printing their requirements on a paper bag (available from the school office) with the correct money placed inside. The bag is then left in the crate outside the administration area, from which lunches are distributed at 12.10 pm.

If children forget their lunch, they should contact the duty teacher who will attempt to contact the child's parents, or make alternative lunch arrangements.

Canteen

A canteen type 'tuck shop' operates every Friday morning during the recess. A menu and price list is available at the office.

Food Allergies

A small number of children at East Claremont suffer from life threatening food allergies. Parents are asked to be mindful of lunchbox contents, particularly if your children are in the same class. Children in these classes are taught not to share food, and to wash their hands after eating and before playing with the children. Class teachers will advise you of these circumstances.
